“The Cobra”

Yes Riccardo Ricco, aka “The Cobra”, won stage 2 of the Giro.  And yes, apparently he predicted his win before hand.  Results don’t lie, and he was able to get a very nice result against some very good competition on Sunday.  Now that I have established that, I still don’t like the guy.  I still have the image of “The Cobra” throwing his bike down the finish of Tirreno Adriatico because he was upset that he crashed.  Waaaaaa…..  Regardless, even I have to admit that the guy is showing some good form right now, although I personally hope that it is short lived.  I know that isn’t right, but hey I don’t like the guy’s style, and would much rather see someone like…..well almost anyone, win the 2008 Giro.  Furthermore, now he is apparently acting like a braggart talking about his win. What a shocker!  Mr. Ricco apparently can’t win well, or lose well.  I personally feel that says a lot about someone’s character.
