Boy, this stage looked a lot easier on paper than it was. Granted I wasn’t riding it, but it sure looked tough to me. If you don’t believe me, look at Lance’s face:
As great as Di Luca looks, Menchov even looks better, to me anyway. If I were to make animal analogies, I’d say Di [...]

I think it was about a year ago that I got a huge laugh when I read that the City of Santa Clarita won an award for being bicycle friendly by some national bicycle coalition or something. I laughed because I know it couldn’t be further from the truth. While Santa Clarita has some nice [...]

I just did my first ride with my new Hudz, and so far they are very nice. The fit is good, and they are very comfortable. Not quite as comfortable as the Campy covers, but nice nonetheless. Maybe I should have gone with yellow, but I like the green.

If you had told me that Petacchi would beat Cavendish in the first two sprints of the Giro, I probably would have told you to lay off the dope. Granted the Stage 3 win today was aided by the fact that Cavendish was caught behind a crash with approximately 10k to go. But regardless, Petacchi [...]
